สมเด็จพระราชินีนาถอลิซาเบธที่ ๒ แห่งสหราชอาณาจักร ทรงเรียกพระบาทสมเด็จ
พระเจ้าอยู่หัวของเราว่า “My Brother” หรือ น้องชายของฉัน เนื่องเพราะพระองค์
ทรงมีพระชนม์มายุมากกว่าในหลวงของเรากว่า ๑ พระพรรษา กล่าวคือทรงมีพระ
ประสูติกาลเมื่อ ๒๑ เมษายน พ.ศ ๒๔๖๙ ทว่า ในหลวงของเราทรงเป็นพระ

ประเทศและเครือจักรภพ ฯ อยู่ในช่วงปีมหามงคลแห่งพระราชพิธีการฉลองสิริราช
สมบัติครบ ๖๐ ปี หรือ Diamond Jubilee อย่างเป็นทางการ ในวันหยุดสุด
สัปดาห์ที่ ๒- ๕ มิถุนายน ๒๕๕๕
ทรงเสด็จรับพระราชทานเลี้ยงพระกระยาหารค่ำ ตามคำทูลเชิญของวินสตัน เชอร์ชิล
ณ บ้านเลขที่ ๑๐ ถนนดาวน์นิ่ง ทำเนียบนายกรัฐมนตรี ในปีที่ทรงขึ้นครองราชย์
สมเด็จพระราชินีนาถอลิซาเบธที่ ๒ ฯ ทรงดำรงตำแหน่งพระราชชินีนาถโดยการสืบ
สันติวงศ์ เมื่อสมเด็จพระราชบิดาพระเจ้าจอร์จที่ ๖ สิ้นพระชนม์เมื่อ ๖ กุมภาพันธ์
๒๔๙๕ เจ้าฟ้าหญิงอลิสซาเบธในขณะนั้น จึงได้ทรงยกเลิกการเสด็จเยือนถิ่นธุรกันดาร
ในเคนยาและเสด็จกลับกรุงลอนดอน พระองค์ทรงขึ้นครองสิริราชสมบัติในปีถัดมาเมื่อ
๒ มิถุนายน ๒๔๙๖ สมัยรัฐบาลเซอร์ วินสตัน เชอร์ชิลดำรตำแหน่งนายกรัฐมนตรี
นับเป็นช่วงที่ประเทศยังประสบความยากลำบากในวิกฤติเศรษฐกิจ หลังสงครามโลก
ครั้งที่สอง
ย้อนไปในสมัยนั้น พระองค์ทรงครองราชย์และร่วมทุกข์กับพสกนิกรในช่วงที่ประเทศ
ต้องเผชิญภาวะยากลำบาก ผ่านมาตรการการปันส่วนอาหารตามนโยบายรัฐบาล เซอร์
วินสตัน เชอร์ชิลผู้ผ่านและแหวกม่านเหล็กทางการเมือง เศรษฐกิจ สังคม พร้อมๆ

บล็อกเยี่ยมเลยค่ะ ภาพสวยๆทั้งนั้นเลย jubilee weekend ยาวถึงสี่วัน วันแรกจัดให้พระองค์ที่สนามแข่งที่ดาร์บี้ เราก็อดดูถ่ายทอด วันอาทิตย์ล่องเรือ อดดูอีก เห็นภาพก็ทึ่งมากๆที่คนมหาศาลได้ข่าวว่่าระบบขนส่งอัมพาตเลยค่ะ แล้วเค้าไม่ได้เตรียมตัวด้วย เค้าบอกถ้าโอลิมปิคเป็นแบบนี้ตายแน่ๆเลย วันอาทิตย์อากาศแย่มากๆๆหนาวทั้งเกาะอังกฤษเลย ฝนก็ตก แต่คนไม่ท้อที่จะดูขบวนเรือเสด็จ ส่วยวันจันทร์ก็คอนเสิร์ตจัดใหญ่มากๆมีนักร้องดังๆหลายคนร่วมร้องและจบด้วยการกล่าวถวายความยินดีจากจเ้าชายชาส์ล แล้วควีนท่านจุดไฟ beaconซึ่งมีกี่จุดไม่ทราบทั่วประเทศ และตามด้วยพลุสุดตื่นตาตื่นใจค่ะ จบงานประมาณห้าทุ่ม คนร่วมนับแสนคน ส่วนวันอังคารจะมีพิธีที่st.paul มีขบวนรถม้ากองหทารม้าเป็นพระเอก ที่เรียกเสียงปรบมือทุกครั้งที่ออกงาน. ขอให้อากาศดีอีกวัน วันจันทร์อากาศดีมากๆค่ะ.

Thanks for the resourceful information. I study in UK in the north country, the celebration is countrywide brings all people in a very happy mood. The street in the north here are lit with beacon fire everywhere. It is along holiday here and also in y university. Thank you for wonderful pictures I never seen before, especially the Queen and our King of Thailand.

Hip hip hip that was Prince Charles said last night at the Buckingham concert to his majesty mummy !! unfortunately her husband was not on her side last night and today ka as he was taken to the hospital yesterday. Well, the street party was not worked either this afternoon due to the tyical British's weather on British's day.

In 1991, David Wood, 44, who is from Doncaster and has Asperger’s syndrome, presented the Queen with flowers. His father, Donald, says: David first became fascinated with the Queen during her Silver Jubilee celebrations in 1977, and began sending her birthday and Christmas cards and letters. Then, in 1991, he was invited to present her with a bouquet when she visited the Mansion House, Doncaster’s civic headquarters. When we thanked the Mayor for allowing David to present the flowers, he said that Her Majesty herself had asked to meet the young man who had been writing to her for years. As they met, David cupped the Queen’s hand in between both of his. She didn’t pull her hand away, and they held the clasp for what seemed an age. I will never forget her kindness.
